(Huntsville, AL) May 31, 2017:Protection Strategies Incorporated (PSI) participated in the 2017 Tennessee Valley Corridor (TVC) National Summit, Where Entrepreneurs and Technology Meet, held at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, Huntsville, Alabama from May 31 to June 1, 2017. The TVC is an award-winning regional economic development organization focused on supporting federal science and technology missions in the Valley, competing for new missions and leveraging these assets for private sector job development. One of the primary ways the TVC advances ongoing collaboration and cooperation among key institutions, organizations, businesses and political leaders is through the annual National Summit.
PSI was pleased to support this year’s event. PSI’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Sean Williams chairs the TVC’s Secure Grid Initiative, which was publicly launched at the TVC Summit in May 2015 after the TVC Board of Directors and Leadership Council formally adopted this initiative in March 2015. The TVC Secure Grid Initiative’ s focus is to make TVC community aware of the growing threat to our grid and collaborate on ideas and solutions that make our grid more secure. To do this, we are bringing together public, private and institutional partners in the TVC to discuss creating a national test bed to explore the development and deployment of technologies and training capabilities to address the challenges of protecting the grid from physical attack.
PSI’s Francheska Parkman and Stephanie Long Neu attended and exhibited at the event in Huntsville to support the TVC Secure Grid Initiative and to promote PSI’s capabilities.
Established in 1998, PSI is a Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that engages industry recognized professionals worldwide to provide security management and consultant services to U.S. Departments and Agencies, international organizations, and commercial corporations.
