(Oak Ridge, TN) January 4, 2017: Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA) awards a nearly four-year contract to Protection Strategies Incorporated (PSI) to provide Vulnerability Assessments (VA), Performance Testing, and Protective Force Management and other security personnel as requested at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Idaho National Laboratory (INL).
PSI is responsible for evaluating the Protective Force response plans to ensure compliance with all new requirements. PSI will also support BEA in the development and implementation of defense strategies and Security Incident Response Plans (SIRP) in accordance with the DOE Tactical Doctrine and DOE O 470.4B, Safeguards and Security. PSI will assist in the development of the supporting documentation to ensure that all DOE requirements are met to include controlling weapons fire, managing site population to ensure their safety during a security event, rules of engagement, recapture and recovery, and barrier plan/terrain analysis.
